Information on filming permits and other required licences

Planning a film project in Kenya or the East African Region?

Once we have settled on locations for shooting, we can expedite that paperwork—namely, permits and insurance. Permits are required from the Kenyan Government to shoot on public property and location agreements are typically needed for use of private property—particularly if we intend to alter the environment. You’ll also need insurance to protect yourself in the event you or one of your crew members accidentally do damage to the location or your rented film equipment. Finally you may need to cover your crew and cast as well—better safe than sorry! We can clear all this red tape for you.
