Planning a film project in Kenya or the East African Region?
Once we have settled on locations for shooting, we can expedite that paperwork—namely, permits and insurance. Permits are required from the Kenyan Government to shoot on public property and location agreements are typically needed for use of private property—particularly if we intend to alter the environment. You’ll also need insurance to protect yourself in the event you or one of your crew members accidentally do damage to the location or your rented film equipment. Finally you may need to cover your crew and cast as well—better safe than sorry! We can clear all this red tape for you.
Foreign crew need to secure a temporary work permit which typically takes between two weeks to a month to process, so applications must be sent well in advance of crew arrival. We are on hand to assist with this process. Contact us for an in-depth consultation ahead of your next project.
Kenya and its neighbouring countries are dynamic and world class locations for international production. It is recommended that legal advice and permits are sought for all filmmaking projects in Kenya and its neighbouring countries. There are many legal bodies to consult and we can expedite this process for you.
